“ During our Lucky Catch lobster tour, we discovered an unforgettable perk: we could bring our freshly caught lobsters to the Portland Lobster Company for them to cook! This unique experience of joining a lobster tour and then savoring our catch for lunch was truly special. The Portland Lobster Company prepared our lobsters to perfection, with tender, flavorful meat, and their sides were absolutely outstanding; fresh, well-seasoned, and the perfect complement to the meal. We also loved their creative waitlist system, using lobster-shaped vibrating notification devices, which added a fun touch to the lively atmosphere. Despite the bustling energy of this popular spot, the food was exceptional, and the service kept up with the crowd. We can’t wait to return on our next trip to Maine! ”
“ Great food, great location! Lobster Stew with Lobster BLT sandwich was my favorite! We had some pretty good poutine for a starter. There was a live band by the outdoor seating. Non lobster lovers loved the chicken wraps! It is nice to have seafood alternatives for families. ”
“ The seafood platter was delicious and huge! I could have made 3-4 meals out of it. I definitely feel like it was worth the price. There was outdoor entertainment too. The group that was singing was enjoyable - not too loud to where you can't carry on a conversation. ”
“ Had a great lunch while listening to live music. Even while very busy, the wait was five minutes, and the staff made it very easy. Wonderful Sunday spot for lunch when other places are closed. Calamari and crab cakes were delicious, and prices were very reasonable. Definitely will return. ”
“ This place is really good. Stopped by at 4:00 PM on a Friday and the hostess politely informed us we could seat ourselves and order at the bar. Food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced for being right on the water. We got the Fisherman's Platter which fed both of us for around 32, and the drink specials at the time were 10 and were quite good. We would definitely come back for sure, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic spot to hang out. Bonus, they also had live music and the artist was talented! ”
“ My first time trying Maine Lobster, the young lady behind the counter was patient and helpful. The food was hot and good! The dining area was really busy, but if you get there in time to sit on the patio, it's really neat. ”
“ Very quaint restaurant. We really enjoyed the clam cakes. The cakes were the best that we had all week. Also, enjoyed the clam chowder and the lobster. ”
“ We did a lobster trap tour and were able to choose our lobster and get it cooked here. Great job and good customer service. Will come again Edit and Note: the hamburger was not as great . Meat tasted frozen but fries were delicious. Who goes to a lobster place to order a hamburger anyway! ”
